MD Ranger, Inc. is a California S Corporation founded in June 2007 by Penny Stroud and Craig Paxton of Cattaneo & Stroud, Inc. and Michael Heil of HealthWorks, Inc. The founders bring a combined 75 years of experience in executive management positions in hospitals and health care consulting as established experts in the negotiation and assessment of fair market value of physician-hospital contractual arrangements. Our experience encompasses a national client base of health systems, hospitals and health care organizations that includes hundreds of expert opinions, contract negotiations and business planning for hospital-physician services arrangements.

The three founders take an active role in all aspects of MD Ranger, Inc. Our product development team includes experts in database development, marketing, statistical reporting, survey technique and report development. Our goal is to produce accurate, timely and comprehensive reports that facilitate negotiations, analysis, business planning and compliance.

The company has retained the services of Thomas Driscoll, Esquire for general legal services. MD Ranger products are structured to comply with the Federal Antitrust Safety Zone as defined by the Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission. In addition, our reports are designed to facilitate compliance with federal data requests, documentation for boards of directors and legal review.
